Dear Tumblr,

It’s been a really long time, and not as if there is anything new about this, but a lot has changed for me over the past few months. Still, Onward and Upward. I’m looking forward to (finally) getting settled back into Oklahoma for the next year for some friends, learning, traveling, and all those other great things.

Kansas City, I miss you daily. Your beauty still inspires me, especially since the aesthetics here aren’t quite as pleasing.

Summertime, thank goodness you’re here. I’ve been anticipating your arrival for months.

Mind, I’m sorry I lost you for a while. I’m glad you’ve been found, and I plan to take much better care of you and keep you firmly in place. Warning: I may boggle you a bit.

hahah. I can’t wait to start blogging again.

This is an interesting video about a simple method used by the likes of Steve Jobs and Martin Luther King Jr. to inspire others.

"…for ultimately, and precisely in the deepest and most important matters, we are unspeakably alone; and many things must happen, many things must go right, a whole constellation of events must be fulfilled, for one human being to successfully advise or help another."

At the End of the Day,

I feel pretty damn good about myself. That’s how I define what’s important.

My week was exhilerating. I woke up every morning when I chose and did what I wanted to do all day. I’ve accomplished at least half of the goals I’ve had for each day, and I’ve put in a lot of hard work in learning exactly what it takes to run a co-op, and I’m about to start learning what it takes to run a business.

Meeting a lot of great new people, learning the city, hacking my education, and loving every minute of it.

If You are Blogging, You are Winning.

So I’ve been losing. I’ve been in a major funk the last few days and I’m working hard to bring myself out of it. Today has been a nice day of quiet contemplation before the new week begins. I’ve worked out a nice plan to set myself on pace with my goals, and I’ve spent the evening working out some kinks in my plans.

Starting my second job tomorrow, and starting a new 3 week section.

I’m going to start making assignments as I think of them and posting them here as well. I think it might help me become a little more accountable.

Any words of encouragement are welcome, as they are needed.
